THE SWINGING BLUE JEANS – Shake with The Swinging Blue Jeans  EP (1964)

For auction here in “VG+” condition is a 1st pressing copy of The Swinging Blue Jeans' 1st EP release. Hard to find in anything like decent condition and this one is not bad. The vinyl has just light surface marks which do not affect play other than cause a little surface noise between tracks. The labels are clean apart from a previous owners initials (gew) lightly etched on the "Side 1" side label and the number '21' on Side 2. You may just be able to see it inthe photo, just abover the "45". Otherwise just light ‘play’ marks around the spindle hole. The picture sleeve grades around VG+ and shows some light creasing and a light ring press mark front and back (see photo’s). Don't get me wrong, this is STILL a nice copy of this EP. just stating it as it is, so no nasty surprises as you will get from some Ebay users. Track listing is shown on front of sleeve.

I always do my best to accurately describe my items as my feedback rating will show and I always check condition under strong light. What I describe is what you get. I deliberately don’t show lots of pictures from every conceivable angle as this takes a long time to do and gives a lot of extra profits to Ebay! Non Payment - I welcome all potential buyers, but do not appreciate people who ‘bid’ but then do not pay when auctions have ended, so please do not bid if you are not going to buy.

Postage Rates – Standard postage rates for single items are quoted below. I always give discounts for multiple items, so if you want to know total postal charges before bidding, please e-mail me and I will do my best to oblige.

UK - £1.50 first single (each additional single in same packet 25p)

EUROPE  £2.25 first single (each additional single in same packet 30p)

NORTH AMERICA & REST OF THE WORLD - £3.75 first single (each additional single in same packet 35p)

Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for items that may go missing in the post, so if you are prepared to pay for the service, please ask for RECORDED DELIVERY (in the UK) or International Signed For (Europe and Rest of The World), but I ALWAYS obtain proof of posting and keep it for 3 months, or until you have advised me through the feedback system that the goods have arrived.

GRADES - All records are graded visually (under strong light) and audibly but not always right through, but if I do see a mark that may cause a problem I WILL play it through .Grades are based on the UK Record Collectors Guide, but suffixes (+) & (-) are also used to grade vinyl falling between 2 categories. See definitions below.

MINT - The Record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Covers and inserts are also in perfect condition – I will rarely use this grade and when I do it is with great care.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record will show some signs of having been played and there may be a few light surface marks, but no scratches or lessening of sound quality. Any covers and packaging included might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) - The record will have been played many times and there will be quite a few surface marks but no major deterioration in sound quality. There may also be the occasional light scratch and there may be a little surface noise on the run in and/or run out, but nothing to cause jumps or pops when played. There may also be some general wear and tear on the cover or extra items, but without major defects unless specifically stated.

GOOD, FAIR, POOR, BAD - I DO NOT knowingly sell records less than VG unless specifically stated.

Feedback  - Positive feedback is important and as a seller I am keen to build a reputation for reliability and quality. I will leave feedback for you once you have advised me that the goods have arrived and are to your satisfaction to enhance both yours and my reputation as a buyer or seller with others.

Terms and Conditions - I will endeavour to finalise your purchase as soon as possible after the auction close, and would like payment within 7 days. I will then dispatch your order within 72 hours (or earlier) of cleared funds being received. Timescales will depend on the method used.
