FOR SALE HERE IS A VERY RARE PRIVATE PRESSING OF THE HUGELY SOUGHT AFTER FEMALE VOCAL FOLK ALBUM ~ A-ROVIN’ ~ BY THE SWINDLEFOLK.

"THIS FANTASTIC FOLK ALBUM WAS PRESSED BY THE obscure but MASSIVELY collectable DEROY label from Carnforth, Lancashire.  Deroy Sound Services WERE A PRIVATELY RUN, custom recording-and-pressing concern.  It was owned by Derrick Marsh AND THE LABEL recorded AND PRESSED some very desirable Folk and Rock albums, by the likes of THE SWINDLEFOLK, Parameter, Forever Amber, and Dark. all of which were given extremely limited pressings. LESS THAN 100 COPIES OF THIS PARTICULAR RECORD WERE PRESSED!!"

GRADING:

SLEEVE: VG - THE SLEEVE IS OF THE "HAND-MADE’ VARIETY. THE PLAIN WHITE SLEEVE HAS BLACK TEXT ON THE BACK WITH DETAILS OF GROUP MEMBERS, TRACK LISTING AND NOTES ABOUT EACH TRACK. THE FRONT OF THE SLEEVE HAS A PSYCH-ish BLACK AND WHITE SLICK PASTED ON TO IT. THIS PRECIOUS COVER ART IS OFTEN LOOSE BUT THIS IS FIRMLY AFFIXED. THE SLEEVE SHOWS A FAIR AMOUNT OF YELLOWING CONGRUENT WITH ITS AGE AND WITH THE FRAGILITY OF THE COVER. THERE IS A 1 INCH SPLIT ON THE BOTTOM SEAM THAT STRETCHES TO THE APERTURE. THERE ARE NO OTHER SPLITS. THE CORNER OF THE FLIPBACK HAS BENT BACK A LITTLE. THERE IS EVIDENCE OF SOME MOISTURE DAMAGE AROUND THE APERTURE, WHICH HAS BEGUN TO BOBBLE. OVERALL THOUGH QUITE ROBUST.

VINYL: EX+ THE VERY HEAVY BLACK VINYL HAS PLAIN WHITE LABELS WITH “DEROY” SOUND SERVICE TEXT. THERE IS NO INFORMATION ABOUT THE ARTISTS OR THE RECORDING. 'SIDE ONE' IS WRITTEN IN RED INK ON SIDE ONE LABEL. THE LABELS SHOW NO SPINDLE MARKS. THE RECORD IS IN EX+ CONDITION AT  LEAST. I WOULD HAZARD A GUESS THAT IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF VERY LIGHT PAPER MARKS WHEN HELD UP TO BRIGHT LIGHT BUT THATS IT. BEAUTIFUL!

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
