THIS HAS to be the rarest album from the Sweet displaying their new forward thinking hard rock direction after ditching vocalist Brian Connolly. In effect they end up ditching their power pop legacy for something a lot meatier. The riffs on this album are superb - real bone crunching stuff with great melodies, shout-it-loud hooks and killer vocals.

I guess the thing about the Sweet was that they were always a stonking hard rock band desperately trying to break out of the pop niche that producers Chinn and Chapman had carved out for them. Well, this album flies 180 degrees in the opposite direction of pop. Its a wonderful testament to the power of great hard rock like the Who jamming with Deep Purple with a distinct sound and songs to die for.

Beautiful copy and getting so hard to find. Only released in Germany at the time and sold next to nothing.

Vinyl: Beautiful clean condition. One lone spindle mark on label and virtually no other signs of use. Grades as MINT-!

Cover: Only the faintest signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff and square but lightly worn. Just a hint of storage wear. Impossible to find like this. Grades as MINT-!
