Description

Stooges - Thai picture sleeve
w/ Creedence Clearwater Revival, Blood Sweat Tears, Three Dog Night
Label: TK Records (TK-340)
Year: 1969

This has got to be one of the strangest and hardest to grip Stooges items out there. An inexplicable Thai picture sleeve pairing the front cover photo from the debut Stooges ablum with four cuts from Creedence, Blood Sweat & Tears and Three Dog Night! Something must have gotten lost in translation over in Thailand, but their linguistic confusion is our gain...you could barely dream up something this cool and bizarre. The picture sleeve itself is in rough shape, but it is made from sturdy glossy cardstock. There is a tear on the right side, writing all over the front and back, and lots of ringwear and general wear. I've included scans of the front and back below as well. There's a note next to the Three Dog Night track that says "skips" but I haven't played the record to find out the extent of it. Chances are, you won't be buying this for play purposes either!

Condition: G/VG (sleeve/vinyl)

GRADING DETAILS Grading Scale: M, M-, EX, VG+, VG, VG-, G

M (mint)
is reserved for unplayed, flawless stock copies. M- (mint minus) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape. EX (excellent) means there's a minor flaw on the sleeve (small crease, price sticker) or disc (fingerprint, harmless scratch). VG+ (very good plus) means a sleeve has minor shop wear — is creased and/or shows a ring impression, and the disc shows cosmetic signs of handling. VG (very good) means not for the anal-retentive. The sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has surface noise (no skips or thunderous pops) and multiple small scratches. VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy. G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips.
