THE STAPLE SINGERS - ‘Hammer And Nails’ LP Holland/USA 1960s/70s(?) Riverside RLP3501
Scarce Dutch mono pressing. Label states made in Holland, in a US sleeve.
Other websites date this pressing at 1962, when 'Hammer & Nails' first came out in the US, but this is probably incorrect. Looks and feels more like a 70s pressing, plus the advertising inner sleeve mentions 8 track tapes and some albums first released in the 1970s.
CONDITION:
PLAYING CONDITION; ranges from VG+ to NrMINT. Very occasional surface noise/light crackle. Occasional pop(s). Just a few seconds of inner groove-wear on side1 - nothing severe. NO loud overpowering crackle NO jumps NO sticking.
VISUALLY; in good daylight, the vinyl playing surface looks VG/VG+.
Labels are NrMINT. Very faint rubbing. All text perfectly legible. NO writing NO stickers.
SLEEVE; is in VG/VG+ condition. Edges still relatively nice and neat. Some marks/scuffs. Small top layer tear on back cover. All spine text perfectly legible. NO seam splits NO writing NO stickers.
Record has been professionally cleaned (vacuum record cleaning machine) and play-tested in full.
