Description

Original 1950s Spaniels 45 of "Dear Heart" and "Why Won't You Dance." This is on the Vee Jay label #189 and it is also the scarcer, white label promo!! This is a guaranteed original pressing; the record is pressed on thick/heavy vinyl and the matrix numbers and deeply 'factory printed' in the trailoff area of both sides. The vinyl is in beautiful, strict VG+ to VG++ condition with full gloss and it plays quite nicely!! I played both sides of this record with a regular Stanton stylus (tracked at 1.5 grams). Both labels look great also, with no writing or stickers on either.
Please review the photos for additional details. Please scroll below to see my full vinyl and cover/sleeve grading guidelines. Vinyl gradings are visual only, unless I specifically state otherwise. Please also see the other, similar items I currently have listed on Ebay; I do combine shipping (rates are listed below).
All of my 45s are shipped in professionally-designed, heavy duty cardboard mailers with extra cardboard padding.

I personally write all of my own titles and descriptions, take all of my own photos, and package all items for mailing myself.  I do not use text, photos or information from “other” sources and would certainly never do so without referencing them. Items pictured in any of my listings are always the actual items that buyers will receive from me.

Payment by PAYPAL ONLY....I do not accept any other form of payment. Unless the buyer makes a different arrangement with me, payment is expected within three days (72 hours) from the closing date of the item.

Combined shipping for U.S. BUYERS:  I can ship any number of 45 records for a flat $4.00 fee (Standard Media Mail).

Combined shipping for CANADIAN BUYERS:  I can ship up to four 45 records in the same package for a flat $10.00 First Class Mail International fee. I can ship between five and sixteen 45 records in the same package for a flat fee of $17.50. EP (extended play) records with cardboard covers count for two 45 records (because of their weight...). For more than sixteen 45 records, please email me directly for a shipping quote.

Combined shipping for all other INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  I can ship one or two 45 records in the same package for a flat $14.00 First Class Mail International fee. I can ship between three and sixteen 45 records in the same package for a flat fee of $24.00. For more than sixteen 45 records, please email me directly for a shipping quote. EP (extended play) records with cardboard covers count for two 45 records (because of their weight...). Registered Mail is required for shipping to some countries where First Class Mail service does not provide valid tracking or where the mail service can be either excessively slow and/or unreliable. Registered Mail is an additional $16.00 fee added to the base shipping price. If you have any concerns about the shipping cost, please check the shipping calculator or contact me directly before bidding.

Buyer satisfaction and returns:  Item must be returned to me in the same condition as it was packaged and mailed to the buyer.

Items are normally shipped within 1 to 2 business days from receipt of payment.

My vinyl and cover/sleeve gradings are as follows:

MINT: I do not use this grade except for sealed/unopened items.

NEAR MINT or MINT MINUS: Vinyl looks basically brand new, untouched, unplayed or nearly unplayed. Cover looks pretty much as new with no real flaws to speak of. This is basically how the item would have looked when it was new from the factory.

VG++: Very close to M-, with vinyl showing only the very slightest, most subtle signs of any past handling or play. Cover may show just the barest hint of wear from age, but nothing at all serious or detracting.

VG+: Vinyl shows some subtle signs that it was played in the past, but was generally well taken care of. Cover shows only some minor signs of age or wear, but nothing too detracting.

VG: Vinyl is beginning to show more obvious signs of past handling and play but still has strong sound quality overall. Cover is beginning to show more signs of age and wear, but is fully intact and still displays very well overall.

GOOD: Vinyl has very obvious signs of wear from over the years, but still plays strongly and enjoyably enough. Cover has obvious wear and tear from age, but is intact and still displayable.

***My very good and good records are very good and good, not bad and even worse! I also do not use the EX (excellent) grading at all.***

FAIR: Record wasn’t properly cared for in the past and very clearly shows it, but it is still playable and should be enjoyable enough for some. I rarely offer records in this condition.
