THE SMITHS   " This Charming Man " ORIGINAL ROUGH TRADE 12 x 24 DISPLAY POSTER

Rare and much sought after piece of memorabilia from way back in the Summer of 1983 . On offer an original Rough Trade / Cartel display poster used to promote The Smiths second single . I've owned this since new ( I worked in an Independent record shop back then ) and used to collect posters and memorabilia that otherwise would have been thrown away after use . I had a few of these which I have sold over the years however this is my last copy of this poster and is in the best condition of the ones I had ( I was going to frame it but have run out of room and it deserves a home where it will be on view )  it was not used in a display so has no staple / pin holes and no blue tack residue it does however have some storage wear . It has light creasing running top to bottom where it was loosely folded at some stage ( Wasn't machine folded )  , these are very light in nature and will all but disappear when framed . It also has small creases diagonally across two corners . The worse area is the bottom left edge where there is a bit of crumpling and a small discreet 5 mm tear . All of these are clearly visible on the photos I have uploaded , what isn't so clear are the beautiful rich tones of cream and brown still evident in this example ( by far the best I had ) ...my photos just don't seem to capture that too well ,  I have included examples of my attempts with different backgrounds / light and have supersized them so hope with the above description and the photos you will get an accurate impression of this mega rare poster , I think the second one gives the best colour match.

Postage includes insurance to £500 and tracking , the poster will be sent in a sturdy / large diameter tube with waterproof outer packaging .
