THE SMITHS - THE WORLD WON'T LISTEN - 1987 FIRST PRESS VINYL ALBUM IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

ROUGH TRADE RECORDS, CAT NO: ROUGH 101
MATRIX NUMBERS A1/B1

THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING COPY OF THE 1987 SMITHS ALBUM "THE WORLD WON'T LISTEN" WHICH INCLUDES SOME OF THE BAND'S BEST KNOWN SONGS, SUCH AS "PANIC",  "BIG MOUTH STRIKES AGAIN" AND "THERE IS A LIGHT THAT NEVER GOES OUT". IT IS COMPLETE WITH THE PICTURE INNER SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT UNSPOILED CONDITION.

VINYL:  PLAYS WELL WITH NO  SKIPS, OR STICKS, AND NO SIGNIFICANT BACKGROUND NOISE. THERE ARE SOME LIGHT WISPY MARKS BUT THEY APPEAR TO BE IN THE PRESSING ITSELF, NOT ON THE SURFACE OF THE VINYL, AND THEY HAVE NO IMPACT ON THE AUDIO WHICH IS EXCELLENT.

LABELS: CLEAN AND BRIGHT WITH NO WRITING OR DAMAGE.

OUTER SLEEVE: FRONT OF SLEEVE HAS NO WRITING, DIRT OR CREASING, BUT THE REAR SURFACE HAS BEEN MARKED WITH A PEN PRESUMABLY BY A CHILD. (SEE PHOTOS) THE SPINE IS SLIGHTLY SCUFFED, BUT STILL RIGID AND READABLE.

A VERY GOOD COPY OF AN EIGHTIES CLASSIC BECOMING INCREASINGLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION AND NOW HIGHLY COLLECTABLE.
