Welcome to yet another DTD sales extravaganza, the home of the "rare good deal". On today's docket is a nifty item for fans of 1980s indie/alternative darlings - the now venerable Smiths! This rare LP entitled the Hand That Rocks the Cradle is really their first attempt at recording their debut album. The familiar songs were recorded and produced by Troy Tate, unfortunately the band were not pleased with the results and these versions were shelved. The band would go onto to re-record the tunes with John Porter for release as their debut self titled album. Grab these alternative takes to create the definitive Smiths collection today!

Vinyl Grading Guide:

M/NM: I only use these grades for sealed records (M) or records that are opened but have never been played (NM).

Ex: May have some very light scuffing from taking the record in and out of the paper inner. Should play with very little to no background noise.

VG+: May have some light scuffing from taking the record in and out of the paper inner. May have some inaudible marks or hairline scratches. May play with minor surface noise/crackle that should only really be noticeable at the most quiet parts of the record. 

VG: May have some more intense scuffing and hairline scratches. May also have some deeper scratches that can be felt and may cause popping and/or clicking, but shouldn’t skip. Plays with surface noise that is pronounced and noticeable but doesn’t ruin the listening experience. You can still listen to it and enjoy it, but it is both visually and audibly most definitely used. 

Good/Fair/Poor: I won’t sell anything with these grades unless they have high collectable value.
