Description

 This is the original UK LP by THE SMITHS, HATFUL OF HOLLOW, 1984, MEGA RARE MAYKING TEST PRESSING, ROUGH 76. This and lots of others vinyl records i am lisitng are sourced from a guy that used to work for CBS, ISLAND, MAYKING and EMI from the late 1970's through into the late 1980's. This and the other vinyl were never sold in any record shop, they were given to him inhouse as a thank you, as he worked and liased with the artists and was responsible for the artwork and proof reading. Only 3-6 test pressings were ever pressed, one was kept by this guy, the others were distributed to a'n'r and the artist,This so RARE!!!!!

The test press is pressed on a nice weight of vinyl and in MINT condition!!, STUNNING!

The label's are MINT, bright and fresh, hand written 'ROUGH 76', underneath is stamped '9 NOV 1984' which pre dates the official UK release date by 3 days, this was common as the arstist would decide,' yes i like the sound', and the record company would work 24hours a day to press 100,000's in a short space of time.

The vinyl is housed in a white inner sleeve.
