Very RARE original Swiss first pressing of The Sevens single "Be My Loving Baby" b/w "The Love Of A Bird" on Layola Records (1965).
Local heroes The Sevens from Basel were the first Swiss beat band to record a whole album`s worth of (mostly) self-penned material. The eponymously-titled "The Sevens" is famously sought after by beat collectors worldwide. Not far behind in desirability lurk the original singles by the band whose first seven-inch was co-produced by none other than Giorgio Moroder. "Be My Loving Baby", the second of a total of six "Sevens" singles was recorded in late 1965. A truly rare "objet du désir", especially in such nice condition!
GRADING:
EX SLEEVE in very fine condition for its age. Please see photos for details.
- Small seam split (1 ½ inches) to the spine (at left).
- Small name of previous owner written on the rear sleeve (at top).
- Slight record imprint on back cover, from long-time storage.

VG+ to EX RECORD in very fine all-round condition.
- Peerless audio reproduction throughout.
- Visually EX+ with light general hairlining, from sleeve removal only.
- Minor crackle in the run-in, as well as in the run-off grooves. 
- A few light abrasions, but no actual scratches whatsoever.
- Semi-matt blue Layola Records labels with original center-hole. Both labels are in absolutely perfect condition.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "L 17 - 217 A - Made in Switzerland" and "L 17 - 217 B - Made in Switzerland".
- This record is fully certified to be an original Swiss first pressing of The Sevens` "Be My Loving Baby" (1965).
