LONDON/DECCA RECORDS MONO FFRR LL-3420
Ultra rare promotional promo copy of the so-called "export" issue of The Rolling Stones, Now! The Mono cover with a "Mono LL 3420" banner at the bottom left of the front cover is still in the original shrink wrap. The promo cardboard cover has not only a promotional drill hole, but also a "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" round sticker. The front cover also has an original "featuring Heart of Stone and Little Red Rooster" single hit hype sticker. This copy has the rarest 1st print FFRR Full Frequency Range Recording dark red labels with a "London ffrr ear" inside a box banner logo. The labels have "Made in England by the Decca Record Co. Ltd" and "Trademark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." text above the boxed logo. The album comes with the original "FFRR EAR / THE SYMBOL OF SOUND PROGRESS" inner sleeve with "Made in Great Britain" at top left corner on both sides and promotional punch hole at the top. This is a final upgrade copy with the cover and vinyl in Near Mint Minus condition. The vinyl is very clean and shiny, only having some super light scuffs from the inner sleeve seen under a certain angle. The vinyl was pressed in the UK and was then added to the covers made in the US. The very first -1K/-1K matrix number in the dead wax of the vinyl. The most copies of this issue have a pretty significant spindle wear. However, this copy's labels are very clean with only a few minor spindle marks that can be seen only under a strong light source. The cover is in impeccable condition with the deep rich black cover on the front and edges, and snow white back cover, which has been perfectly preserved by the original factory shrink wrap without any tears or damage. The spine is fully intact without any scuffing. The edges are in great condition with the two spine corners having some minor bumping.
