Description
Offered: "The Rolling Stones Now!" This is The Rolling Stones lowest charting album released for the U.S. market in the history of the band. Original issues number just over 500,000. Couple that low number with the extreme rarity of this particular London label variation, and you have a Rolling Stones collector's dream.
This is the maroon ffrr (ear logo) mono label variation, (unboxed London) with the horizontal lines running across the label and the words "full frequency range recording" printed between the above mentioned lines.
In addition, this absolute first pressing record is housed in the original cover with the liner notes by Stones manager, Andrew Loog Oldham. Included in the liner notes is this excerpt, "if you don't have bread, see that blind man knock him on his head, steal his wallet and behold you have the loot, if you put it in the boot, good, another one sold". That section of the notes was banned from subsequent releases of this LP. The two columns of print on the back cover are of equal length. Finally, the record is housed in the original date appropriate London ffrr inner sleeve in Near Mint condition.
The album is on the London label, LL-3420 and was issued in 1965.
