Description

Here for auction is a LOVELY example of the ROLLING STONES album titled “LET IT BLEED”, complete with STICKERED SLEEVE AND POSTER!!!

This is an ORIGINAL 1969 UNBOXED DECCA UK STEREO FIRST PRESSING, Catalogue Number SKL 5025. A RARE FIND INDEED!!!

The fragile front laminated sleeve is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. There is some light laminate creasing on the front cover and slight discoloration to the back. The edges and corners have VERY LITTLE WEAR, and the spine is SOLID with all writing CLEARLY LEGIBLE. There are NO rips, unwanted stickers or writing!!

The HEAVILY PRESSED VINYL retains much of its ORIGINAL LUSTRE, and sits flat and true on the turntable. There are several light, non-feelable surface marks which do not affect play. The blue un-grooved Decca labels with SILVER UNBOXED DECCA LOGOS are also EXCELLENT with just light spindle marks evident.

Matrix Numbers are: Side 1 XZAL-9363-P-3W and Side 2 XZAL-9364-P-3W.

A critical play-grading on my REGA turntable showed why these early STEREO FIRST PRESSINGS are so SOUGHT AFTER. The CLARITY and WARMTH that emanates from these grooves is VERY SPECIAL!!!

All frequencies play CLEAR and SHARP. There are NO jumps or loud pops, just the occasional click and light crackle evident during quiet passages.

The ROLLING STONES POSTER is in EXCELLENT UNDAMAGED CONDITION, with no edge wear and beautiful sharp corners. There are no pin holes or tape marks - SUPERB EXAMPLE!!!

Complete with the CORRECT ORIGINAL DECCA blue and white inner sleeve which has NO SPLITS!! although there is some creasing, and light fraying of the edges.

DON’T MISS THIS ONE!!!

This record is from my own personal collection. I take a lot of care when advertising records - and will NOT overgrade!! I only sell records that I would be happy to receive myself. Please check out my 100% POSITIVE feedback.
