This UK 1st press is on the the black and red Piccadilly label. It is complete with the very earliest PLP1013 A1 / B1 matrix, the original heavy vinyl, the original polylined inner sleeve and laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of wear to the grooves, there are just a couple of light marks and a few wispy hairlines. The original Piccadilly label is exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and warm. Superb clarity and audio separation from start to finish. Just a few moments of very light background noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The laminate has the most sensational mirrored shine. The colours are vivid, the white is bright, the text is crisp and the image is perfect. There is just the very slightest corner and edge wear. The rear of the sleeve has a little discolouration but it is still clean and bright. The spine is very firm with clear text.
