TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of those early, rare and highly collectible LP`s by the "one hit" group called the Rivingtons from 1963 - in fact, their very 1st and only release. The LP is entitled "Doin' The Bird" and, as mentioned already, was this group's very first LP release on the original Liberty label and in STEREO. The album includes twelve (12) great songs, including their hit single, "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" as well as an apparent follow up, "Mama-Oom-Mow-Mow" (seriously) - all in MONO and all in outstanding shape (please see the pictures above for all the song titles and more). And, it is yet another album in great overall condition - both the vinyl and the colorful jacket. LABEL INFO: This original, Liberty Label (LST-7282) is nearly perfect with no serious issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very little actual play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in any serious need of a mention. It is very close to perfect, although there are just a couple super light, and totally uneventful, surface/paper lines on one side only - but nothing too serious, trust me. JACKET INFO: Finally, this attractive and colorful red jacket is also very, very good, but it does have some small scuff marks along the seams and in the corner areas. In addition, a small part of the backside appears to have a light "moisture-like" stain if one looks closely enough - I've tried to show this slight imperfection in the pictures above. Otherwise though, this jacket is just fine and has no serious issues at all.  INTERESTING FACTS: Maybe this rare and collectible early '60's LP isn't absolutely perfect, but it isn't that far from it! In my opinion, it's in excellent overall shape, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
