A copy of the first-run of the RESIDENTS single

I CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION/LOSER WEED  RALPH RECORDS RR0776 1976

This was pressed in a limited edition of 200 singles and came in  hand silk screened cover done by the band themselves. This is just before the Cryptic Corporation formed and in 1977 the band expanded their marketing and through the patronage of the UK music press became one of the hottest independent bands and labels around. As you may know The Residents were pioneers in everything from video to sampling and have made some of the best music ever.

NOT AVAILIABLE is a MASTERPEICE!!!! One of my favourite albums ever!

Getting back to Satisfaction...

At this stage they were still finding their feet and an audience.

A classic sonic assault that combines (now) metal/punk/grunge/weirdness and SNAKEFINGER.

This is number 35 out of 200. So, a low number.

The record is STONE MINT - I have not played it since I bought it back in 1982. I have only played the yellow vinyl version - which, as you know is cheaper!

Record is hand signed with "Bye Bye Residents Uninc 35/200 7/31/76

It also come with the original "Registration" card which was a cunning way to get your details for a mailing list.

It also comes with original 'cellophane' cover and original 'WOW" collectors item sticker.
