Description
Here is an extremely rare original LP on the Whizeagle label (W-7003) from The Rats titled "The Rats". This is a very rare 1980 original private press from the Pacific Northwest ( Portland, Oregon, to be exact) from the punk / hard rock band fronted by Fred Cole on vocals and guitar (ex-Lollipop Shoppe, ex-Zipper-Rats, pre-Dead Moon). The band also included Toody Cole on bass and vocals, Rod Rat on Drums, and Sten on keyboards.
Everything is in M- condition! I only played this album twice since opening it - once to put it on cassette when I first bought it, and the second time to grade it for this auction. The cover is still in the original shrink wrap, which has some tears from being on the shelf for so many years. The cover is in perfect shape.
I am also selling "Zipper" by Zipper, all three albums from The Rats (Fred Cole's band after Zipper), as well as some albums by Dead Moon. With several winning bids you could have an excellent Fred Cole collection!
Optional domestic insurance is $1.75, but I can not be responsible for items that are lost or damaged that are not insured.
Please let me know if domestic Priority Mail is desired. The price varies from $6-$10 depending on where in the country that you live.
When I ship a package internationally, I will NOT enter a value greater than $20 on the customs slip unless you request it. International post offices charge an additional fee for you to pick up your package if the value exceeds $20. It's terribly unfair for you to have to pay more to your post office after you've already paid for shipping.
Check out my other auctions and save on combined shipping! I charge by actual weight, and not by item, which makes it much more fair for the buyer.
