RARE, ORIGINAL RADIO STATION REEL-TO-REEL ISSUED BY WESTWOOD ONE RADIO NETWORKS AS PART OF THEIR “IN-CONCERT” SERIES.  THIS WAS NEVER AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND/OR FOR RETAIL SALE.  INDUSTRY PROMO-ONLY REEL – ¼” 7 ½ IPS HT STEREO.  Comes With WESTWOOD ONE Cue Sheet with DJ Markups as Well as Reel-To-Reel Tape with the Show Itself.

These are professional recordings that WERE used for radio programming, complete with commercials and narration. These are NOT bootleg or pirated recordings.

Great obscure collector's item, as these are nearly impossible to come by!

Westwood One Originally Sent This “In Concert” Radio Show As A “2-Reel Package” To Stations.  The Second Show In This Package Is Dramarama Live In Concert From Ventura Theatre – Ventura, California - 1991  Which Is Being Auctioned Separately.  This Does Not Affect The Contents Of This Reel, Show, Cue Sheets, Etc. as Westwood One Kept The Reels Completely Separate To Make It Easier For Stations To Catalog The Shows.   The Reel-To-Reel That You Will Receive Will Be Exactly What Westwood One Packaged & Sent To Radio For The Show Described At The Very Top Of This Page – The Reel Has Not Been Altered In Any Manner.  IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING BOTH SHOWS AS A COMPLETE BROADCAST PACKAGE, PLEASE EMAIL ME, I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING.

Gum & Citibank Cards) were edited out of this show before it aired **

"In the Second Half of The Whow, We'll Feature The Ramones, Whose Most Recent Release is Entitled "Mondo Bizarro."

  “At the Palladium last week, the Ramones front-loaded the "hits" like "I Wanna Be Sedated" and "Blitzkreig Bop" (now part of a Budweiser

commercial),  then wedged in the new material, encasing it in a heartfelt stage speech by lead singer Joey Ramone. Best of all was a guest

appearance by Doors guitarist Robby Krieger on "Take It as It Comes," the Doors oldie. Krieger added a welcome dose of lead guitar to

the endless strumming of Johnny Ramone."

This special presentation was brought to you over the Westwood One Radio Networks and was produced by Karen Manning,

production & engineering by Jeff Kowalcyzk.  Concert Material Provided by the BBC Transcription Service, with Pete Dauncey producing.

 Mobile record by Biff Dawes, Doug Field and Phil Kneebone.  In Concert is a presentation of Westwood One, executive producer, Norm Pattiz.
