I have for your consideration an ORIGINAL RARE SURF 45 by THE PROGRESSIVES on Dot records in Dot paper sleeve

side 1 has HOT CINDERS

side 2 has MAN OF MYSTERY

I'm grading this record on each side but overall by visual inspection i'm grading it VG

On the HOT CINDERS side I see scuffs but no scratches

The label is in fair shape but showing wear

On the MAN OF MYSTERY side I see scuffs but no scratches

The label is in fair shape but showing wear

I Believe The paper sleeve is original and is in good shape showing lite wear

I ship records inside box with cardboard added to each side of record for safety of the record

M = Mint:
I would only list as mint if the record is new in sealed package

NM = Near Mint:
The record shows no scratches or scuffs and the label is very readable (like new)

VG+ = Very Good +:
Will show some signs that it was played but well cared for
Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect its playing
The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable

VG = Very Good:
Will have heavier scuffs and more pronounced scratches but hard to feel with your fingernail
Mild Surface noise will be evident upon playing
Label may have writing or staining but still be readable

G = Good:
Good will still be playable but may have deeper scratches you can feel with a fingernail
Label may be in poor shape but mostly readable
