Description

The Pretty Things original 1st press UK Columbia label 1967 single 'Defecting Grey'.

The record has been well played over the years and as a result there are light visual marks which result in background noise, particularly noticeable at the quieter start of 'Defecting Grey'. As the sound builds it is a reasonable listen.

The 'B' side 'Mr. Evasion' has background noise on the intro and then develops into a decent listen.

I've test played it on my Rega Planar 1 turnatable and it would be optimistic to grade it as very good, harsh to grade it simply good, maybe good +. It has seen better days though visually there's no deep marks and certainly no skips or jumps on play, just the noticeable background noise on the quieter sections.

I've separately listed several other rare singles and an ep from The Pretty Things so please have a look, if interested.

Please see my photos and as always, if an item isn't felt to live up to my description a money back guarantee is offered on the safe return of an item.
