Description
This is a no reserve auction for the following 45 RPM vinyl record:
Artist: The Pentagons
Title: Try and Find / Before I Go
Year: August -1966
Cat # Pent Records (Fenton) 2084
Vinyl Condition: VG
Comments: Vinyl shows sleeve swiping, but plays great with some noise. The noise however is not overwhelming and there are no skips or loud pops. Labels look good with no writing and little rub wear. There is a small warped part on the edge of the record, but it does not affect playback. There are also some heavier scarf marks on side B, but again they do not affect play. This record is not mint by any means, but it's rarity is worth the blemishes.
This is a mega rare record which was put out by the legendary Michigan label Fenton. Fenton had many offshoot labels and Pent was one of them. Actually from my reading, it looks like this particular record was the only one ever issued under the Pent label. I guess it was short for "Pentagons"...which makes sense. The Pentagons were a Muskegon, Michigan band and had a garage/punk sound...very much like Mitch Ryder...very cool! Additional information about the Fenton label and it's groups can be found here:

I have other rare Garage/Punk records up for auction, so please check them out.
All records are shipped in heavy corrugated record mailers.
My $4 shipping price is for the Con. US. Only. Canadian bidders pay $8, please contact me for invoice. All other destinations will be a flat rate of $17.

**** NOTE TO BUYERS****
I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, or small seam splits.
G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.
P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
