THE NEGATIVES - STAKEOUT c/w LOVE IS NOT REAL
PRODUCT: 7" single, UK
YEAR: 1979
ORIGIN: Original first pressing c.1979 NOTES: The original first pressing of the group's one-off single on Look records in 1979 - this copy not only has the original fold-out sleeve, which were hand-made by the group themselves, but is one of only a few non-numbered variants which were primarily used for promotional purposes and sent out to various people such as John Peel etc, to gain the record some attention.
Also included is an original hand-written letter by the band's drummer, Tino Palmer, explaining how the single can be bought from the main stockist which was the Guy Watson outlets in Bradford, Huddersfield and Leeds(see pics) - the letter is the original one, and is not NOT a photocopy or re-print of any description and has been verified by Tino himself as being 100% authentic - anyone wishing to make their own contact with him to check this, is more than welcome to do so
