Description
Every once in a great while something special will surface, giving collectors a chance to own something rare and sought after. I acquired this Slv/45 from a serious record collector, he collected records from the mid 70's and 80's. He and his friend acquired many rare records during this time, something happened to his friend and he ended up with his collection. This slv/45 was part of this collection. All he could tell me about this item is that it was from his friends collection. This is a '78 second state picture sleeve by THE MISFITS, on the front it is signed by GLENN DANZIG and one other band member, this signature is hard to make out, it looks like BOBBY STEELE. However Bobby is not listed on the back cover with the other members. Glenn's signature is very easy to make out especially when you hold it at an angle he pressed hard with the pen. The 45 EP is on red vinyl and has black with white print PLAN 9 labels #PL-1001. Tunes are: BULLET/WE ARE 138/ATTITUDE/ HOLLYWOOD BABYLON. By THE MISFITS. Etched in the trail of is side A: SP-1001-A MISFITS also etched is RICH FLORES. Side B: SP-1001-B MISFITS RE. This is not some poorly pressed bootleg, I listened to one side, tunes sounded crystal clear and dynamic Everything is in the best condition, vinyl is glossy with NO scratches, scuffs, or groove wear, labels are near perfect with NO problems other than 4 very tiny wear dots on one side.The sleeve is made of a thin cardboard, has NO seam splits, bent corners, or ring wear. Just has very mild wear, and a handful of very small light brown spots on the back. This is a very rare find especially in this CONDITION: SLEEVE NM--/EP NM.
