The first "hardcore" record? The birth of "thrash"? All right, I agree. Nothing about the look of this record, from the white-bread name of the band to the suburban nostalgia evoked by the sleeve, prepares you for the shocking raw burst of energy it contains. A landmark release from a band ahead of its time.

Labels: Silver.

Sleeve: Water stain in the upper right corner (it's on the back also). Water mark not too visible, but has caused wrinkling of the paper sleeve. See the pictures above and below, including the close-ups, and make your own judgement.

Vinyl: Looks great. Plays fine.

This punk classic is from my personal collection, which means I bought it ca. 1981/1982. I always took great care of my records, immediately placing them into protective plastic sleeves upon purchase. I played some more than others, but many were played no more than a few times, if that. For the past 20 years they have been stored, upright and unplayed, in a closet. Except where specifically noted, you can expect the condition to reflect the care that has been given them. I have played both sides of each of them to ensure there are no skips or other major problems.
