Description

THE LIBERTINES - FACTORY TEST PRESSING OF CLASSIC SECOND ALBUM
I have decided to release some of my huge Libertines collection for sale. It is the first time any of these ultra rare records have seen the light of day.
This is the genuine Rough Trade factory test pressing of the classic 2nd album. I have never seen another white label test pressing of this album, and this one was obtained straight from somebody in the industry in the U.S.  However it was made by Rough Trade in the UK. It has the correct UK Rough Trade factory matrix numbers:
Side 1: RTRADLP 166A
Side 2: RTRADLP 166B
This is clean and Nr Mint, unplayed my me and I think unplayed at the factory. It has the test centre labels taped to the stiff outer white sleeve along with a message from the Rough Trade and pressing plant staff (shown in pictures). It also has 'Test Pressing Only - Not For Production!' stamped on the top corner. There is additional correspondence written in the corner of the inner sleeve. This is as rare as it gets if you are a Libs fan or someone looking to buy a true investment record from a massively influential band. It was made never to see the light of day, It is the only one in existence.
ONCE THIS HAS GONE IT WILL NEVER BE OFFERED FOR SALE AGAIN. DON'T MISS IT!
A real one off investment grade opportunity. Once it's gone that's it. Snooze and lose on this one.
Please see my other auctions for some more highly sought-after alt. vinyl rarities.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING POSTAGE: This rare record is currently located in AUSTRALIA. I am offering registered international air mail shipping to the winner at £18, not the £7 advertised by eBay, so please wait to be invoiced with the CORRECT postage amount of £18 before paying. For some reason eBay caps postage at £7 but it is impossible to send it this cheaply from Australia. I have been told by Australia Post to allow for 14-21 days to reach overseas destinations. (Although it usually takes about 10 working days to the UK/U.S from Oz.)
