???????? WELCOME TO ALLHART99 RECORDS ???????? This sealed lp was one of the first off the pressing line.It was purchased by me from band member Ray March several years ago. The Krystals were a rock band from the Labrador City/ Wabush area of Newfoundland and Labrador. When Stan Erbrink of early '60s Dutch act The Black Knights finished his engineering studies and went to Newfoundland in search of work in 1966 it was the end of his band. It was in Labrador City where he met Maurice Caines who had just left The Keatniks and they formed The Krystals in November 1966 with Hynes and Lucas. After beating around Newfoundland and the East coast of Canada for several years, Erbrink was left rebuilding a new version of the band in 1970. Their self-titled, self-finance debut album was recorded at R.C.A. studios in Montreal in November, 1970 in one continuous 18-hour session.
