Description

Here's an original 1969 US PRESSING of THE KINK'S LP, ARTHUR OR THE DECLINE AND FALL OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE.  It's on the 2 tone Reprise Steamboat label.  Rare to find a 1969 copy in great condition.  The Kinks suffered in record sales in the later half of the 60's, mostly because in the biggest market, they were banned from performing from 65-69.  And at a time when music was getting more and more creative, The Kinks were banned from Playing the US.  Arthur is an incredible Kinks LP that didn't sell well.  It may well be my favorite Kinks LP, but that's difficult to say as there are so many great ones.  But, this is a perfect album from start to finish with beautiful and powerful songs.

This one is in beautiful condition.  Cover is vivid and beautiful with some minor paper bubbling at the top front cover. All other aspects of the cover are  great.  A really beautifully well preserved copy in fantastic condition. COVER is VG++.  The original lyric sheet pull out with a cartoon of Queen Victoria is in NEAR MINT condition.  Original inner is in great shape.  The VINYL looks and plays pristinely NEAR MINT.  It's on the OG 2 tone steamboat label indicating a first pressing.  Killer copy-
