Since eBay is now charging for shipping costs, I have decided to now offer free shipping for all purchases.  Please note that I still must charge for international shipping -- please see the note below. 

This item is a great compilation 2-LP vinyl set entitled Kollectable Kinks.  It was released in the early 1980’s, and is described on the kover as “A Kolossal Komprehensive Kollektion of Kwite Rare Klassik Kuts Kulled From the Arkives”, and indeed it is.  I could go on and on about how wonderful the Kinks are, but those of you familiar with their work already know.  So I will say this – some of the tracks on this collection are quite rare and wonderful.  Prince of the Punks is a great single, along with the Christmas single Father Christmas – still my favorite rock and roll Christmas song EVER.  It packs a tremendous emotional wallop once you get past the fun and games.  There are the two extended “disco” versions of Low Budget and Superman, early B-sides including I Go To Sleep (later covered by the Pretenders), Lincoln County with a great Dave Davies lead vocal, Apeman and Lola, and the gem of this collection – Massive Reductions.  Casual fans will now this song from the Word of Mouth album – but real kultists will know a DIFFERENT version of the track which was the UK B-side of Better Things, and a far superior version to boot.  I can say no more than – this collection will not disappoint.

The vinyl and the cover are in excellent condition, as shown in the photo.                                                                        

NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US:  Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL.  PLEASE NOTE THAT BIDDING ON THIS ITEM IS ACCEPTANCE OF THIS REQUIREMENT.  The fact that other sellers may send items by First Class International -- and put themselves at risk for claims -- is immaterial.  In addition, the USPS just increased their rates.  To Canada, the cost for 1 single LP is $22.75USD.  To Europe, the cost for 1 single LP is $30.75USD.  Multi-album LP sets cost more, so if you have any question at all about postage, please e-mail me before the auction ends (but please give me enough time to respond).  Other countries will be about the same as to Europe.  Combining multiple albums saves money, and I can send you the shipping costs upon request BEFORE YOU BID.  I recognize that this results in very high shipping costs, but it is of no benefit to me because the money is paid to the USPS for postage.  If you think this policy is unfair, contact Paypal -- I'm only following their rules.  If you have any questions about my shipping policy or costs, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time. 

Shipping within the US is free, via media mail.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs). 

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information.  

NOTE:  Sealed items are collectible because they are sealed.  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Once opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value. 

NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation,  ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75.  

International Buyers – Please Note:

·         Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

·         Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

I will always combine items.  Payment may be made by paypal.  If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction and I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.
