This auction is for The Kinks album, Arthur. It is on Pye Records, with the blue/black label. It has a gatefold/poster sleeve with cartoon artwork. Includes a rare printed inner which holds the vinyl and has a cartoon Queen Victoria on one side and the track lyrics on the other.

 

The sleeve is in EX+ condition. The outer side is laminated and has some lifting. It has no rips or tears. The spine is undamaged and clearly readable.

 

The vinyl is in EX+ condition with no visible marks or scratches.

 

The catalogue number for this record is NSPL 18317.

 

These records have been taken to a professional for advice on the condition, etc, and this was their opinion.

I am selling this record on behalf of my Father, who once upon a time was a roadie with a number of big bands, back in the 60’s and 70’s. He started his collection then and has never really stopped – except now he buys everything on CD – hence why we are now putting all his vinyl up for sale. They have been well looked after and loved and are all in great condition.

 

There is still a large number to collect from him, so keep an eye out, as the remainder of his personal record collection will be up for auction here soon!
