One of the great lost gems of power pop. Straight from 1980 Connecticut, it’s THE KIDS. This record boasts two high octane Thunders / Heartbreakers style tunes and two slower songs that will still frighten anyone who loves ballads. LOUD GUITAR POP PUNK at its best! If you’ve heard “Down At Ron’s” (a tribute to the club in New Haven that was THE place for cutting edge bands to play) on the “Up All Night” CD comp (Incas Records) you know what I mean! This is for real!

Cover is close to mint. No split seams, ring wear, tears, or stains. Just one bent corner on the left. Still in the original plastic sleeve from 1980 with “Featuring ‘Down At Ron’s” sticker! Vinyl is just about MINT. I don’t believe it was ever played. No scratches, scuffs, or spindle marks. Just beautiful.
This is one rare lil’ record and if you love power pop or 1977 style punk, you need to own it. ‘Nuff said.

THE STORY OF THIS RECORD
For almost 21 years, We had a record store in Danbury, CT called TRASH AMERICAN STYLE.
In May of 2007 our landlord shafted us, and suddenly TRASH had no store. But our loss is your gain. Ever since May 2007, we’ve been sorting and organizing old stock and we’ve come across many many awesome records. They’d been sitting in the back room mostly untouched for DECADES. Most of these records were ordered new from labels and distributors and never bought by our customers or tucked away by lazy employees. Records were brought in by customers to sell to us and even some records were brought in "hot off the press" by bands themselves. After being on the sales floor for a while, we’d sometimes clear them out to make room for more new records. We’d stick them in the back room where they sat (and sat). And now, here’s one of them.
