Description
This is a rare 1st recording of Canadian artist Paul Hoffert of Lighthouse fame titled "The Jazz Roots of Paul Hoffert" on the obscure Chateau label! This LP DOES NOT come up for auction too often making it a rare find for Canadian collectors. I would grade both cover and LP in VG+ condition with clean labels and nice lustre. But there is a factory blemish on the first song that looks like a slight warp and makes a hissing sound as it passes that part of the record for approx. half of the 1st song on both sides. Not a click, just a hiss. The rest of the LP plays fine with a few light pops and crackles in spots. Paul Hoffert was 17 at the time of this recording and is accompanied by a bass, sax and drum player. Payment Options: PayPal, International Money Order or cash by registered mail.
