Up for auction I have a now very scarce vinyl copy of the Jam Extras double compilation album released on the Polydor Records label.Catalogue number is 513 177-1.
         Vinyl is in excellent- condition with light surface marks,the kind you get from removing the vinyl from it's inner sleeve,just paper scuffs.It plays and sounds really nice.The only fault I noticed while test playing was an audible click on the track I Got You(I Feel Good),surely the worst track on the album!.Apart from that it is an excellent playing copy of this now hard to find album.
          The top opening sleeve is totally intact with a perfectly readable spine,though it does have some light edge creasing and light scuffing which I shall grade as being in VG+ condition.
           The whole package includes the two original inners that are in excellent shape.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT :
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed be Mint.

EXCELLENT :
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD :
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish additional insurance please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.

I may use a + or a - to emphasise a grading which may be inbetween a grade. I will never use a mint grading for a 2nd hand/used record for instance. Mint- will be the very highest grade.
