Downey Studios, conveniently located on the other side of the velvet rope at Wetzels Record Town, was arguably one of the coolest spots to get wax near the Pacific. Many of the most coveted soul tunes, sleaziest riffs, raunchiest horns & tassel twirling surf numbers were placed down in grooves there.
Now you can own this hard-to-find disc in ultra rare MINT condition!
Superb disc. Wicked '64 guitar instrumental that mixes a bit of R&B noir with the still-prevalent surf sound of Southern California. Obscure one on the great Downey Records (The Revels, Chantays, Pastel Six, Rumblers, etc.).
