Englisches Info:

The Humpers are a garage rock’n’roll pUnK band formed in 1989 led by Scott "Deluxe" Drake, formerly of The Suicide Kings. Despite being based out of Long Beach, California, they recorded their first full-length, My Machine, for a Yugoslav Zagreb based independent label, Zdenko Franji?'s Slušaj Najglasnije (Listen Loudest). The Made in Yugoslavia printed on the record sleeve was first interpreted as a joke, and then as indication that the band is very popular in Yugoslavia, even though the members haven't even been to the country yet.

Recorded (live) 5/7/1990 at Jimmi Tone Studios, Fullerton, CA, U.S.A.

Before being signed to one of the best known labels in punk rock, the Humpers' beginnings were far more modest though, and after The Suicide Kings' break-up (pre-Humpers '80s band) the band got together in 1990, and in the same year recorded this magnificent piece of a debut full length for the underground Croatian record label Slusaj Najglasnije (Listen Loudest). the Humpers' debut, which contains twelve songs recorded live in one day, resulting in a true garage sounding production which only adds to the greatness of this album, and will most definitely kick your ass. All songs are just pure dirty and unfiltered punk'n'roll hits, filled with great guitar leads and hooks, and of course Scott Drake's incomparable vocals.
