Massively Rare Original 1967 U.K. Mono 1st Pressing 'Evolution' by The Hollies! - One of the Rarest UK Parlophone Mono Black/Yellows! Complete With Original 1st Press Laminated Flipback Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve and Original 1st Press EMI Ads Inner Sleeve!!! In Superb Excellent++ Vinyl Condition!!! A Very Rare Record!!!

You are bidding on what is one of the harder-to-find Parlophone 1960's black/yellow label Mono LP's - the awesome 'Evolution' by The Hollies!!! This is the Original 1967 UK Mono 1st Pressing, with the rare 1st press KT stamped yellow black Parlophone centre labels!!! It is also complete with its ORIGINAL Laminated Flipback Garrod & Lofthouse Mono sleeve and, importantly, its ORIGINAL 'EMI Ads' poly-lined windowed inner sleeve!!! On the rare occasions that this record turns up it is usually in very bad shape full of marks and scratches - this is easily one of the very best examples of this rare LP I have seen! The pristine labels and deep mirror-like sheen on this record has to be seen to be believed - the images really do not do it justice. It has clearly only ever been played a handful of times at most before. Check below for a detailed description of this rarity. Believe me, this is a very rare and sought-after record today, due in no little part to the fact that it is so damn good!!! This record only had an incredibly short press run and is very difficult to find anymore as a true 1st press (come to that, even the 2nd press black/silver Parlophone pressing is tough to find nowadays and books at well over £20!). Usually only found on later black/silver re-issue labels, this record is very rare to find on the original UK Mono 1st press yellow/black KT stamped Parlophone label anymore.  The centre labels are absolutely pristine, with only the faintest and most minimal spindle lines and no scribbles etc. The raised KT stamp has not worn away and the raised letters are still nice and black!!!  The heavyweight vinyl looks absolutely stunning. I cannot emphasise how very difficult it is to find 1st press copies of this LP that have not been played to death, on the rare occasions that the do turn up they are full of nasty scratches and gouges. This one is NOT!!! It looks absolutely stunning with a deep 'just pressed' shine!!! You will not find a more pristine UK 1st pressing of this record!!! There are NO scratches, NO warping and NO groovewear There are just maybe one or two very light paper-lines on either side and that's it! Impossible for this record!!! It will grace any high grade UK 1st press beat/psych collection!!!  The thick quality pressed chunky 1960's vinyl looks and feels great (it is mega heavy!). It superb vinyl easily grades as Excellent+++ at the very least. In fact with this kind of shine most would grades closer to Near Mint but I'm edging on the conservative side. It also plays superbly with NO skips or jumps and NO hissing or pops! It is a superb playing copy, it is even virtually silent between tracks! It has clearly only ever been played a handful of times at the best and never seen on of those horrible blunt mono needles of the 1960's. You will never have to upgrade this disc! The original 1st press laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse 'Mono' sleeve is also a real beauty! On the rare occasions these turn up they are also usually completely worn out.  However, this one still retains its FULL original stiffness and box shape!!! The sleeve lies nice and flat FLAT with NONE of the usual ring wear!!!  The unlaminated psych pink reverse side has NO discolouration or colour fade whatsoever! Impossible for this sleeve! There is just a small name written in the top right hand corner and that's it!!! This is as beautiful example of this rare mono sleeve as you will see and must grade as Excellent- at the very least!!!  The LP also comes with its Original 'EMI ads'  inner sleeve, this is a real beauty and grades as Near Mint - it is perfect in everyway!!! This is the rare UK Mono 1st pressing - forget the later inferior re-pressings, this is the only way you should listen to this record!!!

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure.
