My album auctions
I am selling my records to help pay for some essential house repairs.  The pictures are of the actual record and I make every effort describe the condition honestly and accurately.  To decide the grade, I use the ‘Record Collector Magazine Grading Guide’ and I play-check every record too.  I also won’t sell a record I wouldn’t buy for myself.  If you’d like further reassurance please look at some of my feedback  J

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Condition
When describing the condition I use the ‘Record Collector Magazine Grading Guide’ and I play-check the album too.  I also try to provide good quality large pictures of the album, so you can assess the condition for yourself.  The pictures should speak for themselves.

Vinyl  |  Very Good
The record has been played many times over the near-50 years since its release and has inevitably picked up a few marks and light surface scratches along the way.  However, these appear superficial because on test-playing there is little or no discernible deterioration in sound quality (bear in mind it's a mono recording).  The only thing I can detect is an occasional 'crackle' on side one (which might be due to one of the scratches) and some very slight static/crackling on the intro run-in and between tracks, which is inaudible during play.  This album is very rare and commands very high prices, so my asking price reflects the quality of this album.  I have included a recording of the test play, which includes the 'crackle' I refer to, so you can decide for yourself if you are happy with the quality.

Cover Sleeve  |  Excellent
The cover sleeve is in excellent condition for its age.  There is some light wear to the corners and edges, plus a few of the usual small edge creases and a few larger handling creases too - all of which is consistent with age.  There is also a bit of light rubbing wear to the back of the cover from storage, and a few 'spots'.  But no major flaws.

Authenticity of this album (catalogue number and other identifiers)
This copy is identifiable as the 1967 UK first pressing because it bears the catalogue number PMC 7022 and has the "XEX..." dead wax inscriptions on the run-out (the Dutch pressing had "YEX...").  The labels also include "MADE IN Gt. BRITAIN" and "SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS".

Cat Ref: PMC 7022 is printed on the back of the record sleeve, and also on the disc label.
Matrix / Runout (Side 1, stamped): XEX 635-1
Matrix / Runout (Side 2, stamped): XEX 636-1

Postage
I take care to package records properly in rigid cardboard mailers designed for the purpose and with extra protection given to the albums, so they should arrive to you in the same condition they were sent.

I do combine postage, so if you buy more than one album please don't pay until you receive an eBay invoice from me.

You have the choice of postage service and the level of insurance protection.  Please choose a postal service (and level of cover) from the table below.  The default postage option is Royal Mail Small Parcel Economy, which comes with £20.00 cover against loss or damage in transit, and if you elect to pay with this default postage selected then please understand I cannot accept any additional liability.  If you would prefer the Standard or Signed service please send me a message before paying and I will send you an adjusted eBay invoice.

These postage charges are the cheapest I can provide.  I do not charge for packaging etc. they are just the actual cost of postage with eBay's 10% commission on top.
