On offer here is the CLASSIC and VERY HARD TO FIND HOLLIES Album "EVOLUTION" from 1967.
This is the Original 1st "MONO" Pressing with the Vinyl and Cover in BEAUTIFUL ORDER!!!
There are some surface marks and light scratches evident, with a heavier scuff on Side 1, Track 3, which does cause some low level pops and clicks, but after cleaning and playing through twice, I can confirm that it really does play SUPERBLY. There is some light surface noise evident in the quiet passages, but there are NO heavy pops or clicks and NO skips or jumps, just SUPERB AUDIO!!!
The labels with "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD", "SOLD IN THE U.K." and "MADE IN Gt BRITAIN" text, along with the "K.T." tax stamp, are SUPERB with NO writing, NO grubby marks and just light spindle marks (see photo's).
The "Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd", Front Laminated, Patents Pending, 3 flipback Cover is in BEAUTIFUL ORDER, with the front lamination retaining a Lovely Glossy Shine and the rear of the cover still Beautifully Clean, with NO grubby marks and just a touch of edge and spine wear (see photo's). There is a faded name written on the rear of the cover, but because of the colour, it's not too noticable.
Comes Complete with the Original 'EMITEX' Advertising Inner Sleeve with NO splits or tears.
A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS CLASSIC PSYCH ALBUM AND WORTHY OF PLACEMENT IN ANY GOOD COLLECTION!!!
