THE HISTORY OF ROCK - COMPLETE LP SERIES.
An extensive, complete collection of all 40 LPs from The History Of Rock series, mostly double albums. Each LP is presented in a gatefold sleeve with extensive liner notes about the artists that feature. Some focus on a particular genre style or a couple of complimenting artists, such as The Jam, Gary Numan, Kate Bush, Japan, Altered Images, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Bob Marley, Bobby Womack, Blondie, ELO, Little Feat, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Rory Gallagher, Marvin Gaye, Joni Mitchell, Thin Lizzy, Elton John, Joe Cocker, Family, Sly & The Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Janis Joplin, Velvet Underground, Stevie Wonder, The Byrds, Fleetwood Mac, Yardbirds. Vinyl condition is generally VG+ to Exc. There is some evidence of water damage from poor storage at some point in their life so a few of the sleeves may drop to G with gatefolds having stuck together and small splits appearing on some top edges. The Elton John album shown in the photos is the worst example of this. I have priced the starting point to reflect this.
