RECORD GRADING Mint (M) The record has never been played, both the playing surface and label are perfect. Depending on how it was handled, even still sealed "new" records may not be mint.
Near Mint (NM) The record has no obvious signs of wear. The record is not warped, and there are no scratches visible even when held to the light. Excellent (EX) The record is has only light wear and scuffs. Some very light scratches can be seen when held to the light, but they are almost un noticeable when played.
Very Good (VG) The record has some wear and light scratches but is very playable. The surface noise is noticeable, especially between tracks, but does not overwhelm the music.
Good (G) The record is worn, scratched, and has significant surface noise. It may be warped but can be played through without skipping.
