THE GREATER EXPERIENCE on Colony 13 (CSP 45-2572)

 

"Don't Forget to Remember" b/w "Carol's Carol"

 

 

A fantastic northern soul rarity from THE GREATER EXPERIENCE, released on the obscure Colony 13 label out of Danville, VA, circa 1970.  Tracks are: "Don't Forget to Remember" (3:09) and "Carol's Carol" (3:08). 

 

By Goldmine standards (M / NM / VG+ / VG / G / P), this is a conservative VG++ copy.  This record was UNPLAYED when I acquired it, and still has a few of the original paper treads dangling from the spindle hole.  Vinyl retains full gloss, with light paper scuffing and a few very light scratches that do not affect play whatsoever.  I've listened to this record once and it sounds GREAT, plays like a new record. Both labels are clean, almost like new, please super-size the images I've included. Definitely a keeper copy of this mega-rare soul classic!

 

PLEASE NOTE:  In the past year, I have sold several copies of this record through eBay and other outside sales.  Numerous collectors have contacted me with questions regarding the number of Greater Experience 45's in my possession.  This auction is for one of 10 unplayed, stock copies that I happend to acquire a little over a year ago.  I have sold off the majority of these 45's and this is perhaps the last copy I will be offering for sale on eBay.
