THE GIRLS My Love/My Baby 45 7" RARE GARAGE BEAT ROCK Record Vinyl Records 1965 CONDITION OF THE VINYL: This was a odd one where there is either a locked groove at end of "My Love" or dirt spot I couldn't remove. I tested both sides in full and they sound wonderful other than that one quick spot near end of "My Love". That part of the song just keeps repeating until I moved the needle just a split second and it moved past the problem so it's kinda hard to explain. Both songs play nice and loud to drown out any issues but depending on what kind of equipment you have this quick issue might not even be a problem. I wanted to be completely honest and explain it the best I could so I'd just say it's a locked groove spot and keeps spinning over that same word in the song until you either touch the needle cartridge or moved the arm of your player one little groove over and it's gone. It does feel like the groove area where it repeats is kinda raised up so perhaps the needle couldn't move past it until it was physically moved by me to go past that spot. Honestly can't say I've ever seen this before so might just be a production issue not a scratch or dirt spot. (see pics) A. My Love Written-By – Terry Dene 3:20 B.
