The Gipsys
Odeon "Pops" DTOA-8655 / 1970 / Argentina
.......... (Promotional)
Te Escucho Golpear (I Hear You Knocking) b/w Oh! Malala
Original, 1st and only pressing released in 1970 on Odeon "Pops", Argentina. Offered here is the 2nd copy that I've had for sale of this rarity in 4 years (whereas I manage tons of 45s). This beautiful promotional example is even rarer because it has the original press note from the record company of this specific release (with some crazy drawings). There are NO chances to find such type of copy again. It is quite funny that the record company has referred to them as a 4-piece band, because they were a trio. This is on many DJs/collectors want-lists around the globe right now, and was recently comped on Diggin' Down Argentina (Nuggets From The Rioplatense Scene). Good luck bidding!
Listen to the soundclip(s): Oh! Malala
(All clips are taken from the actual record for sale).
Record: M-/VG+(+), .......... (It has a few light scuff marks, and one small negligible light surface mark on the B-side, which doesn't affect play, although it is noticeable, while the A-side is in NM condition). .......... Both labels are absolutely clean, .......... (NO writings, stickers, dirt, spindle marks, ink stamps and/or wear). .......... Sleeve: N/A, it comes housed in its original company sleeve.
Registered airmail (worldwide): 1 7-inch $ 9.00 / 2 to 4 7-inches $ 14.00 / 5 to 8 7-inches $ 22.00. We will be glad to combine multiple purchases to save on shipping costs.
