Description
The Genesis Concert
This is the live radio recording of a Genesis concert that was recorded at the Lyceum Ballroom in London, England. There is a discrepancy as to the actual date - record label says April 24-26, 1981, while sticker on jacket cover (which states that it is correct) says that it occurred on May 7th, 1980. Either way, we know that at that point, the studio band was sown to a 3 some, and Phil Collins was the lead vocalist. The concert is a nice mixture of newer (at that time) material, and also pays tribute to some of the Peter Gabriel-era classics. Songs titles are listed below. As this is the actual radio concert recording, it does include commercials, which are at the end of each record.

GRADING: primarily grade my records visually, based on the Goldsmith rating system of Mint, Near Mint, Very Good Plus, Very Good, Good, and Poor. Questionable marks and scratches are usually tested on a turntable and noted in the listing. I try to err on the conservative side in my grading; but since it is not an exact science, there are bound to be differing opinions as to what constitutes a certain grade. Suffice it to say that I strive to be as honest as possible in my listings, as I plan on selling records, etc. for the long haul and I am not interested in ripping anyone off. That being said, I would add that the time for questions is DURING the auction, not after. I will be happy to respond to any email as soon as possible.
