Description
THE GENERATION GAP -- Anybody Listening? -- hard to find, original 1970 U.S. album. Quite lovely and apparently completely unknown Private Press Female Xian Folk with plaintive, bittersweet vocals and melodies on tracks like Come Lord Jesus, When I'm Feeling Lonely, Judas and Mary and others, from this obscure group out of Brick Town, New Jersey. Lo-fi, echo-filled sound quality and handmade paste-on cover add to the DIY feeling of the record. This copy was either signed by group member Joyce Reynolds or belonged to her, since her name is written/autographed in the upper left. See photos for track list. Cover: VG+, paste-on cover applied to generic white cover, ring wear on blank back. Record: VG/VG+, light surface wear, overall fairly clean, on blue private press label, U.S. press.
