Description

Original 1960s Garage LP by The Fugitives entitled, "On The Run with The Fugitives."  This is on the Justice label JLP-141 and it is pressed in fabulous, loud MONO. I don't think there were any stereo issues of this LP anyway. Labels are white with black print; I don't think this is a promo. Both the vinyl and cover are in good condition; maybe even slightly better. The vinyl has all of its original gloss and shine but it was clearly played and enjoyed by its original owner. Has mostly light scuffs and scratches and a couple more feelable marks on Side 2.  I played this entire LP with my regular, "industry standard" Stanton cartridge (tracked at 1.5 grams) and it played very well with no skips and only minimal anomalies. Most of the songs on this LP are loud so the scuffs/scratches do not affect the playback all that much. The cover has some partial splittting along all three seams, some light shelf wear, minor writing and a sticker on the back, and some old tape residue in one of the upper corners (see photo). Despite all that, it is fully-intact and totally displayble. This group came from Richmond, Virginia. This, their lone LP, features a great mix of covers and a couple originals. Great playing and fine, often snarly, vocals!! This is obviously not an audiophile copy, but I think most people will enjoy having it as a very enjoyable filler until (and if...) a near mint one ever comes along.  This LP rarely turns up in any condition. Buyer satisfaction is guaranteed, but please do ask and and all questions you may have BEFORE BIDDING.
