TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of those early, extremely rare and highly collectible LP`s by the early '50's-'60's group, The Five Satins. It is yet another album in outstanding overall condition - BOTH the vinyl and the jacket - but especially the vinyl. This album - the group's very 1st - is on the original, and somewhat obscure, Ember Label, and is entitled "The Five Satins Sing" from 1957. The LP is truly a rare and highly sought after record - one of my most treasured pieces - both the vinyl and the jacket - and all songs are in MONO and all are in outstanding shape (see the pictures above for all of the song titles and more). LABEL INFO: This original, red with black print, Ember Label (ELP 100) is nearly perfect with no issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in serious need of any mention. If you look closely enough there are just a couple super light paper lines, but otherwise the vinyl seriously looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased, and again, was likely played very sparingly. JACKET INFO: Finally, the beautiful, red jacket is primarily very good - although there is one piece of scotch tape along the entire top seam only. I must say it has been very tastefully done and is hardly noticeable - nothing all that serious in my opinion, believe me. Other than this, I see no other visible flaws at all and the front side is simply gorgeous!!  INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this extremely rare and hard to find, highly collectible LP is in very nice condition - so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
