THE FIVE ROYALES - ORIGINAL
RARE ORIGINAL PRESSING - KING 678. Bought it new from old warehouse stock in 1970. VVG - EXCELLENT condition.

I'm Selling My Collection: From 1970 - 1983 I was a rock critic in the UK and US - Sounds, NME, CREEM, Rolling Stone, etc. I also worked at EMI and Island, managed Generation X and The Go-Gos, run a club, been a DJ, ran labels...All the time, I collected records. Now I'm selling them.
EVERY RECORD & CD I LIST IS MINE - 99% of the time I got them when they were released. I really took care of them. I did my best to keep everything in perfect condition.??There's a lot of BS on eBay hyping up how rare the seller's records are and how perfect the condition is. I describe these records as honestly as I can. The discs are inspected in daylight. Please use the Zoom function on the photos to check for yourself.

EXTREMELY RARE! ORIGINAL PRESSING - KING 678.The Five Royales were a really big influence on STEVE CROPPER. One listen to guitarist LOWMAN PAULING and you'll know why. He's years ahead in his playing and cutting guitar sound.
I got this from Village Music in Mill Valley, San Francisco in 1970 - a really famous record shop in the US with an amazing selection. The owner would find warehouses filled with brand new stock leftover from the 50s. This was a NEW RECORD when I bought it. It's been kept in a plastic sleeve since the mid-1970s.
Played very few times. VVG - EXCELLENT condition.
CONDITION:
Record is 75 - 80%. A few light pressing marks that don't affect play. A needle mark through Side 1 Track 1 - otherwise very clean. Perfect labels with no spindle wear. Heavy vinyl disc.
Cover is 95%. No marks. No wear on corners. No splits on the edges. All that keeps it from being 100% is some light dirt wear on the front from storage. Check the photo under the Zoom feature.

Records sent in a stiff cardboard mailer. DISCOUNT POSTAGE for multiple buys. I can get 3-4 LPs in one mailer. UK price for 4 LPs is £3.50.
