In 1984, New York hip hop and beat box pioneers The Fat Boys released their debut album. It was produced by another hip hop pioneer, Kurtis Blow. These guys developed a style that made The Fat Boys famous, and got their music played on the radio. The videos were also in heavy rotation. They did a version of "Wipeout" with a couple of Beach Boys, and a version of "The Twist", with original twister Chubby Checker! The Fat Boys made music that was fun, and easy to dance to. Sadly, Prince Markie Dee and the Human Beat Box Buff Love passed away, leaving only Kool Rock-Ski as the surviving original member. (RIP Dee and Buff. You guys helped start a revolution in music, and brought hip hop to the masses. You are both missed!)

In 2012, a special, limited edition picture disc of that hip hop beat box classic was released. It came in a pizza box, and the picture disc LP looks like a pepperoni pizza! Check out the pics. You could leave this out, on display, and your drunk friend will think it's cold pizza, left out! Just don't let him take a bite!! It came with a download card for the entire album, a very cool booklet with all of the liner notes, and of course, the pizza box itself! An awesome and rare collectible, and at a very nice price! These don't come around too often, and when they do, it's usually over $100! But not here, and not today!

The vinyl looks awesome, and is still all shiny and clean! I can't vouch for the sound, as I never play specialty vinyl such as pic discs or colored records. The box is in great shape, with no rips or tears, or handwriting anywhere on it! The booklet is immaculate, and the download card may or may not be still active. Just an incredible collectible to own, and ready to bring home, and at a nice price! For fans of The Fat Boys, east coast hip hop and beat box music, or collectors of cool collectibles. (Try saying that fast 3 times! ) Or you can have this for your very own, because you know you're worth it!
