Description

Mark E Smith's uncompromising vision reaches its ultimate chapter with Post Script, the definitive final studio album from one of Britain's most legendary and influential cult bands. Featuring 9 previously unreleased tracks recorded in the band's later era, Post Script captures The Fall at their raw, restless, and fiercely idiosyncratic best.

These songs bristle with Smith's trademark caustic wit, hypnotic repetition, and jagged post-punk energy - delivered with the kind of snarling authority that made The Fall a byword for outsider genius across five decades. From fractured garage-rock grooves and menacing bass-driven mantras to eerie, spoken-word-laced experiments and towering, ramshackle anthems, Post Script serves as both a fitting coda and a vital addition to one of the most singular catalogues in rock history.

Long-time fans will hear familiar DNA - those fractured rhythms, belligerent poetry, and unfiltered Northern spirit - while new listeners will discover why The Fall remain unmatched: utterly original, endlessly quotable, and impossible to imitate. This is the last word from a band that never compromised, never repeated themselves, and never cared what anyone else thought.

""The Fall are the only group that ever mattered."" - John Peel

Edges of new vinyl can be sharp and transit vibrations can cause serious damage to inner and outer sleeves.
